I'd like to be able to hot-plug-in additional USB HDD when I need some extra storage.

Also I'd like to be able to add new bigger HDD, copy the data from old HDD and then disconnect the old HDD. (This could be done while the NAS is offline.)

The TS-109Pro has 3 USB ports and adding new external USB HDD. Also it has eATA port for better performance.
